ReadyTogether emerged in one of the most challenging and unusual times for collaboration—peak COVID. With my creative partner and I working remotely in Australia and New Zealand, we found ourselves brainstorming over Google Meet, grappling with a unique challenge: "How do we create authentic, natural conversations between agencies and brands when they can no longer share the same room?"
As we worked, I noticed how the window frames in our backgrounds aligned on the screen, visually connecting our separate spaces. That simple observation sparked a four-hour live Figma session, where we developed the idea: if we can’t physically bring people together, let’s make them feel like they are. And so, ReadyTogether was born.
The series reconnected brands and agencies across the U.S., fostering conversations about the foundations of great partnerships and the importance of maintaining human connection.
The project spanned a mini-series, a microsite, social media campaigns, and blog content (both short- and long-form). What began as a COVID-inspired solution has since evolved into a significant pillar of the Think with Google network, showcasing the enduring value of collaboration even in the most isolating times.
